Namron Hospitality Adds MUSA, Opens NEST Los Cabos

MEXICO CITY — Namron Hospitality is expanding its portfolio on Mexico’s Pacific coast with the opening of NEST Los Cabos in Baja California Sur and the addition of MUSA, a 177-acre oceanfront retreat in Ixtapa on Guerrero’s coast near Zihuatanejo.

MUSA, or Modern Utopian Society of Adventurers, includes 13 Hotelito rooms, nine Hideaway casitas surrounding a freshwater biopool, four Basecamp rooms, five Casa Musa beach house accommodations and seven villas. The Hotelito rooms and Hideaway casitas are members of Design Hotels.

The property, located about 45 minutes from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport, also includes a working farm, apiary, turtle sanctuary, wildlife reserves, art galleries, a beachfront club and a water temple with a stargazing deck.

MUSA’s programming includes regenerative farming, tree planting, creative workshops and an artist residency program. Its ALBA restaurant serves contemporary Mexican cuisine using produce from the property’s gardens and ingredients sourced from nearby fishing villages.

Namron said MUSA will continue to develop in phases, with plans to expand community initiatives in the greater Zihuatanejo area involving education, animal welfare, ecological restoration and other programs.

NEST Los Cabos, meanwhile, is the third property in Namron’s NEST brand, joining NEST Tulum and NEST Baja. Located at the base of the Santiago oasis in Baja California Sur, the six-accommodation property was converted from a former private home.

Accommodations range from Terra Suites with private patios and outdoor showers to mountain-view tents with indoor bathrooms. Guest activities include kayaking, waterfall hikes, seasonal dining and wellness experiences.

Namron said the property incorporates sustainable construction methods, endemic landscaping, water stewardship, local sourcing and community-based hiring practices.

“MUSA and NEST Los Cabos embody our evolving vision, which emphasizes a nature-driven approach to hospitality that prioritizes our guests’ wellbeing,” Namron founder Yves Naman said. “Rather than simply creating beautiful hotels, we seek out extraordinary places and develop experiences that honor their landscapes, celebrate local culture and leave a positive impact on the communities that welcome us.”

Namron Hospitality’s portfolio includes the La Valise, NEST, Radhoo, Encantada, XELA and other brands and properties.
