Global Hotel Alliance Adds The Marmara Hotels and PURO Hotels
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Global Hotel Alliance announced the company is adding The Marmara Hotels of Turkey and PURO Hotels of Poland to its portfolio, bringing more than 10 additional properties into the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program.
The Marmara Hotels’ six properties in Turkey are already participating in the program. PURO Hotels’ properties are scheduled to join during the third quarter of 2026.
“Independent hotel brands are increasingly looking for ways to reach more international travelers while staying true to their local identity,” GHA CEO Chris Hartley said.
The Marmara Hotels has operated for more than four decades and has properties in Istanbul, Bodrum and Antalya. Its portfolio includes hotels near Taksim Square and Pera in Istanbul. The company also is involved with cultural properties including Esma Sultan Palace on the Bosporus and the restored Zeyrek Çinili Hamam.
PURO currently operates eight hotels in Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Poznań, Gdańsk and Łódź. The urban hotel brand emphasizes design, art, food and beverage and connections to its surrounding neighborhoods.
The company is preparing to expand outside Poland, with openings planned in Budapest, Hungary, in 2026 and Prague, Czech Republic, in 2027.
GHA DISCOVERY provides recognition, benefits and rewards across participating independent hotel brands. The addition of The Marmara Hotels and PURO Hotels gives the alliance its first homegrown member brands from Turkey and Poland.
