Red Cliffs Lodge Moab Names Fogarty GM

Nickfogarty 0325MOAB, UT — Red Cliffs Lodge Moab, a retreat gateway to the region’s iconic Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, has announced in a press release the appointment of Nicholas Fogarty as general manager; he oversees the property management, including its current renovation project.

With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Fogarty joins the Red Cliffs Lodge Moab team after spending more than a decade as director of food and beverage at the Hilton Cassara, Sheraton, and Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. He also briefly served as event services manager at Hyatt Regency La Jolla in San Diego, California, before most recently serving as director of banquets at the 5-star resort Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego. During Fogarty’s tenure at these properties, he managed daily operations of more than $20 million in annual sales, improved staff trainings, and led teams of nearly 100 people.

Fogarty has earned many esteemed designations throughout his career, including 2010 Manager of the Year, 2016 Manager of the Quarter, and 2019 Manager of the Quarter.

The new Red Cliffs Lodge Moab offers guests customized experiences, personalized tours, and curated, off-the-beaten-path adventures like guided dark sky tours at Arches National Park, air tours of Canyonlands National Park, and horseback trail rides through historic western movie sets.

The Red Cliffs Lodge brand is made up of Red Cliffs Lodge Moab and Red Cliffs Lodge Zion. Together the two hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, boast 232 rooms, two restaurants, and ample opportunity for outdoor activities between them.
