Westgate Resorts Wins Gold in 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards

October 12, 2026

ORLANDO, Fla. — Westgate Resorts has been named a Gold Winner in the 2026 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards.

The company received the recognition in the “Overall | Vacation Rentals/Villas/Time Share” category. The annual awards program recognizes design, marketing and service across multiple travel and hospitality segments.

“This award reflects the passion our team members bring to creating memorable experiences for our guests and continued commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and value for travelers,” said Jared Saft, chief business officer at Westgate Resorts.

The 2026 Magellan Awards drew hundreds of entries from the U.S. and international markets, according to the release. Winners are selected by a panel of travel and hospitality professionals.

The company said the awards are judged against a standard of excellence rather than through direct competition among entries. As a result, judges may recognize multiple winners in a category or no winners, depending on whether entries meet the program’s criteria.

Westgate Resorts, headquartered in Orlando, operates nearly 60 resort properties and is supported by about 9,000 team members. The company said its portfolio includes villa-style accommodations in destinations including Orlando, Las Vegas, Park City, Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Westgate was founded in 1982. The company added VI Resorts by Westgate in 2025 and announced Westgate Bimini Bay in August 2026.
