TPG Welcomes New Team Members

PROVIDENCE, RI ­— TPG Hotels & Resorts, one of the nation’s premier hospitality management firms, announced today it added new employees at both the Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri and the Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Nathan Wood was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Intercontinental Kansas City. Wood is a driven professional focused on details and goals, and is team oriented. He started his career in Kansas City in 1998 at the Hilton KCI and held positions with Starwood Hotels, John Q Hammons Hotels, Atrium Hospitality, and the Branson Convention Center. He has served on several boards, including the Board of Directors for the Thurber House, Branson Chamber of Commerce & Convention & Visitors Bureau, Downtown Branson Betterment Association, Missouri State University Customer Experience Program, and Springfield MO Convention & Entertainment CID.

Katie Emerick was appointed Director of Sales at the Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel. Emerick is an experienced, results-driven executive with over 15 years of experience in driving revenue growth and performance goals. Known for her strategic vision and dynamic leadership, Emerick has a proven track record of crafting innovative sales and marketing strategies that deliver tangible results. With a relentless focus on customer satisfaction and market expansion, she consistently leads her teams to surpass expectations and achieve unparalleled success in competitive markets. Emerick joins TPG Hotels & Resorts from Transformation Hospitality Solution. She has also previously held positions with Aimbridge Hospitality and the Plaza Resort and Spa.
