Hyatt Regency Conroe Debuts in East Texas

CONROE, TX. – The Hyatt Regency Conroe officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday, according to a press release

“We are thrilled to open our doors and welcome our first guests to Hyatt Regency Conroe later this month,” said General Manager Roberto Intriago. “Conroe is a key business and leisure destination, and Hyatt Regency Conroe will add an important new premium full-service option for travelers visiting the Texas Piney Woods in historic east Texas. Whether visiting for a weekend getaway, attending a conference, or exploring the great outdoors of Sam Houston National Park and Lake Conroe, our goal is to ensure hotel guests and locals alike have a memorable visit.”

Hyatt Regency Conroe will boast 250 guest rooms, including 13 suites and 11 accessible rooms, with complimentary Wi-Fi, modern bath amenities like Smart Mirrors and 65” flat screen televisions with streaming capabilities.

The new contemporary hotel will feature a variety of dining options reflecting local and fusion cuisine. Avenue A, the hotel’s lobby bar and lounge will serve locally inspired cocktails and small plates like grilled black garlic chicken wings, crabcakes and parmesan truffle fries with outdoor seating available as well. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Conroux, the hotel’s full-service restaurant will celebrate Texas Gulf cuisine with homage to Vietnamese flavors through menu items like crawfish fritters, corn chowder and pork belly banh mi.

Hyatt Regency Conroe’s food and beverage program will be led by Executive Chef Christian Brady with support from an experienced culinary team. Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Conroe, Chef Brady served in culinary positions at several other Hyatt properties, including Grand Hyatt Washington D.C., Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa and Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa.

With two ballrooms and six meeting rooms, Hyatt Regency Conroe can host large-scale events and group meetings with more than 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space designed to accommodate events of any size and scale. The hotel’s 14,000-square-foot Regency Ballroom has ample room to host events for up to 1,000 attendees.
