Newport Beach, CA — Newport Beach’s five-star, five-diamond The Resort at Pelican Hill proudly announces the appointment of General Manager Kevin Kelly.

Bringing over 25 years of hospitality experience to his new role, Kelly will serve as an invaluable leader ensuring the award-winning Resort’s enduring success as a Marriott luxury property. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, Kelly is focused on elevating the service culture and curating exceptional guest experiences while capitalizing on growth through Marriott channels.

An established leader in luxury hospitality, Kelly’s extensive background and familiarity with the Marriott brand will allow for a seamless integration of his comprehensive operational expertise into the next chapter for the Resort. With the overarching goal of fostering a collaborative environment across all departments, Kelly’s management style is thoughtful, strategic and approachable, ensuring each Associate has the opportunity to thrive within their respective roles.

Consistently recognized for his unwavering dedication to the highest standards of service, attention to detail and guest satisfaction, Kelly has been recognized as ‘General Manager of the Year’ three times in his career, twice in the last two years. He began his career as General Manager at Shire Hotels in the U.K. Kelly also served as Director of Food & Beverage and then as Director of Sales & Marketing at London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, General Manager at the London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch, the London Marriott Grosvenor Square, and later St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. Following his time in London, Kelly moved to United States and served as Market General Manager at both The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, and his most recent assignment at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain.
