March 26, 2025

Allisoninnandspa profile 0325SEATTLE, WA — Columbia Hospitality, a North American hospitality management and consulting company, has announced the addition of the Willamette Valley Wine Country luxury resort, The Allison Inn & Spa, to its hotel management portfolio.

The Allison Inn & Spa is surrounded by picturesque vineyards and rolling hills; it features 85 guest rooms and suites, an award-winning wellness spa, and the JORY Restaurant.

Founder Joan Austin envisioned The Allison Inn & Spa as a “small country inn,” and as the Willamette Valley has flourished with world-renowned vineyards, so has The Allison. It recently elevated the guest experience by enhancing JORY’s dining scene and introducing a distinct new dining concept in its reimagined living room space.

“The Allison measures success by the indelible moments and memories that regular guests, locals, and winemakers have made here in this special corner of Willamette Valley Wine Country,” said Brian Naffin, president of The Allison Inn & Spa. “We look forward to continuing and building upon this success with the help of Columbia Hospitality.”

Columbia Hospitality is now managing The Allison Inn & Spa, supporting the team and property as it exists today, while bringing in additional tools, resources, and support to benefit the guests, team members, and community it serves. The Allison Inn & Spa joins the large group of hotels, resorts, bars and restaurants, distinctive venues, spas, golf courses, and residential communities that Columbia Hospitality manages and operates.

Columbia Hospitality was established in 1995 by founder/Chairman John Oppenheimer. Their growing portfolio includes award-winning hotels and resorts, residential communities, restaurants and bars, private and public golf clubs, spas, conference centers, and distinctive venues. Columbia has also consulted on hundreds of hospitality projects worldwide.

Allisoninnandspa room 0325Located in Newberg, Oregon, on 35 hillside acres approximately 18 miles from downtown Portland and a 60-mile drive to the Oregon Coast, The Allison Inn & Spa’s 85 guest rooms and suites all boast fireplaces, a terrace or balcony, window seat, and a spa-like bathroom. It was awarded the LEED Gold Certification less than a year after opening in the fall of 2009.

The Allison Spa features two outdoor and 12 indoor treatment rooms, including a Halotherapy room, couples suite, and private lounge space to accommodate wellness options such as yoga, meditation, and stretch therapy. It also includes eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, cedar saunas, a fitness studio, an indoor swimming pool, nail salon, a spa café, and retail boutique with signature items. The Allison Spa uses natural and local products and is uniquely known for its “Pinotherapy” treatment — a Pinot-inspired botanical and biological therapy produced by wine and grape seed extracts derived from the resort’s vineyard. JORY, named after the area’s fertile soil, spotlights the abundance of Oregon Wine Country with a strong emphasis on seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine coupled with an extensive 500-label wine list. JORY maintains its Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star ranking with the locavore menu, which reflects The Allison’s garden-to-table philosophy, accentuating native flavors of the Willamette Valley and its bountiful local agriculture.
