The 94-room boutique hotel in downtown Macon is extending its signature Southern hospitality to guests and their VIPs (Very Important Pups), making it the perfect option for travelers exploring Macon with their furry, four-legged family.

“We know pets are a part of the family, too, so we wanted every guest, whether two legs or four, to feel at home at Hotel Forty Five,” said Gary W. Byrd, General Manager. “Macon itself is a very pet-friendly city, and our walkable downtown has several spots where our guests and their pets can enjoy spending time together.”

In addition to the warm welcome, Hotel Forty Five offers a variety of amenities to ensure the comfort of its guests and pets. There are also nearby dog parks, scenic walking trails and even pet-friendly breweries, ensuring plenty of tail-wagging fun in Macon.

A flat, one-time, non-refundable fee of $150 per stay applies to all pet-friendly bookings, with a limit of two dogs per room.

Hotel Forty Five occupies one of downtown Macon’s historic high-rises at the intersection of Cherry and First Streets, and Cotton Avenue, sitting at an iconic angle for which the hotel is named. In addition to its pet-friendly charm, the hotel features a signature chef-driven restaurant, a sixth-floor rooftop bar and lounge, and an eclectic coffee and wine shop. More than a hotel, Hotel Forty Five is a cozy space to catch up with friends, make new ones, simply share the latest gossip and hang with man’s best friend.
