Victoria House Resort & Spa, Belize Appoints David Jenkins as General Manager

Ambergris Caye, Belize — Victoria House Resort & Spa, Belize, the award-winning luxury resort located on the serene island of Ambergris Caye, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Jenkins as General Manager. Located on the largest of the offshore Belizean islands, Ambergris Caye, the resort offers luxurious accommodations, dream amenities, and gracious service.

As General Manager, Jenkins, will oversee all operations at Victoria House Resort & Spa, including guest experiences, staff management, and strategic planning. He will work closely with the entire team to ensure that guests receive the highest level of service and have an unforgettable experience at the resort.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jenkins brings more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new position. In 2012, Jenkins co-founded Sandbar Beachfront Hostel & Restaurant, an award-winning hostel in San Pedro, Belize that hosts over 10,000 travelers per year. Jenkins sold the property in 2023 and looks forward to bringing his experience and expertise to Victoria House Resort & Spa.
Jenkins received his Bachelor of Art Degree from Arizona State University in Global Governance with an emphasis in International Relations and a Minor in Political Science. He also holds a Certificate in International Studies also from the school. Jenkins now resides in San Pedro with his wife Vanessa and has a daughter, Olive.
Jenkins is also an active volunteer in his community. He has been the Vice President of the San Pedro AIDS Commission since 2017 and is a volunteer member of the San Pedro Emergency Operations Center where he coordinates and directs response efforts for various natural disasters. He looks forward to bringing this same dedication to his new role at Victoria House Resort & Spa.
